Not since the heyday of Punk has a band been so in-your-face with aggression, attitude and power fuelled by class and raw honesty.

Hailing from South London, the band have spent the last couple of years touring America, the Far East, Europe and here in the UK with their debut album Culturephrenia.

Fronted by six-and-a-half foot one-man tornado Lee Mangan, their live shows melt the polar ice caps with earth-rumbling bass lines from Lee Elvey and scorching cut throat guitar, while tribal thunder is provided by John Barrett. The re-emergence of the mosh pit mayhem mentality surging through the audience.

Musically Steranko defy categorisation, but the integrity that runs all the way through their songs is that of classic rock greatness. From the frantic blistering opening of "Nylon" it is clear that the new album "Keepers Of The Fallo" takes no prisoners. From the outset it is clear that the band have created a milestone in 21st century urban angst. A "Clockwork Orange" for the ears and for NOW.

"Burglar or Banker" is a skanking tirade against the live now, pay later culture and strikes a chord in the heart of anyone who has ever owed a penny. In fact the whole of "Keepers Of The Fallo" is an aural time capsule of the ills of 2009 in much the same way as the first Clash album was to the late 70s. The album includes a number of the band's videos, directed by vocalist Lee Mangan, who has recently had exhibitions of his art in London and New York. His work has also been included in a Royal Auction of art alongside David Hockney and Damien Hirst amongst others.

To coincide with the album's release Steranko will be undertaking extensive tours of the UK and Europe, performing at a number of Festivals before returning to the USA and Far East.

Watch Steranko carefully because this is a band whose time is NOW and they are set to make a substantial mark in the world of Rock.
